God Is, That Is Why I Am!

God Is, That?s Why I Am! is a personal testimony of my life. Growing up as a young adult raised in a Christian home, I experienced life as a God-fearing woman. This journey begins in my hometown of Henderson, North Carolina, in the early forties. I lived through segregation and injustice of Black people as a child but didn?t fully understand the impact on our people until I was much older. This book depicts my life, as I knew it?from a mere child in the south to a mature woman in the north. At some point, I was disconnected from God?s purpose for me. It was not until I lost my mother that I began to fully understand the path God had for me. My eyes were open and my ears could hear the Lord but I rejected it. I walked many paths trying to pursue my career. But God had another plan for me. I hope my testimony will encourage young people to open their hearts to the power of God.
