That is Mean

Well for me it all started back in high school, senior year specifically. I didn't really have anything else to do in class but to write in my notebooks so that is what I did and then eventually I found other people who wrote in their notebooks or on their laptops and we started critiquing our work. Then we all sort of went to college and I found myself, yet again, being bored in class and all I wanted to do in class was to write and write and write. Mostly poetry because it interested me because I never really read to much poetry. Finally, We all split up and our doing our own things in life and we still find ourselves, eventually, coming back to those notebooks of ours because it's the only thing that will listen.
My intentions on this collection range from many different levels. I really wanted to get my work off my laptop and sort of move on from it. Also I wanted to see if anyone liked it. I wanted to also show my inspirations (the co-authors) while I matured poetically through them and hopefully they did as well. And finally I wanted to act as a narrative from my early poetry, before I even knew what poetry was, and through the last few years and the different directions we have taken with it and also some familiar themes throughout.
