The Glimpses of the Moon

A couple who enjoy the advantages, but cannot afford as much as they may like of high society, agree before their marriage that either one is free to divorce if he or she gets a better chance (marriage with a wealthy suitor). They each grow jealous of one another as each tries to find a more suitable situation for themselves.
