My Daddy Is a Soldier

What happens when Daddy has to go? Chris, a little boy, is about to find out when his father is deployed and is sent far, far away. He can’t go with his daddy, but instead he needs to stay home and help his mommy. He may be sad but he is proud. He keeps going on thinking about the day daddy will be home. See through the eyes of a child into the lives of a soldier’s family. He will miss his daddy but his daddy is always with him in his heart. This story was written originally for my son when his daddy was deployed to Iraq.
