Bastard is a story about finding a place of happinesa after rejection and during family turmoil.

Abandoned by her father, Winter has retained the hope that one day she would learn why. Late one night she receives a call that she thinks will lead her to the answer.

Jeril Monroe only claims Linda and Candace as his daughters. He has no desire to form a relationship with what he considers a constant reminder of his fall from grace—Winter.
