Mountain Drifter, Spence Pierce Saga Begins

Spence drifter across the American West after recovering from wounds incurred at Gettysburg during the civil war. He worked odd jobs until he drifted across the Coastel Del Rey Mountains where he encountered a range war which quickly lead to a gun battle. The rancher offered Spence a job to help deter bushwackers and rustlers. This lead to skirmishes with the neighboring rancher, battle with Indians and finally the courtship of his neighbors daughter. A quick action, easy read that teens will enjoy as much as their parents.
