The Promise of Touch

What happens to man's best friend after man is gone? That's the question three uplifted dogs have to answer after humanity is wiped out. In a story that is by turns funny and heartbreaking a marxist Irish setter named Red and a German shepherd named Buzz follow a mutt named Church as he braves the terrors of a post apocalyptic world to find the last living human.

"The Promise of Touch" won honorable mention in the 27th Edition of The Year's Best Science Fiction.
