NCI International Portfolio: Addressing the Global Challenge of Cancer

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) plays an important role in promoting global health and contributing to the economy and security of nations around the world. As this portfolio demonstrates, NCI’s international activities are both broad and deep. However, the activities described here are only a small sample of the Institute’s efforts. NCI is committed to playing an even greater role in international cancer control in the future. That is evidenced by our involvement in emerging international collaborations, most notably the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global cancer prevention and control resolution.
