THE FORSAKEN INN (A Mystery Novel)

This tale is about an delapidated inn in upper New York State taking place in the late 1700's. A Mrs. Truax was the owner of the inn. One night a young couple check in carrying a big box that is very heavy that the man will not let out of his sight.They were a strange couple that said they just got married; the wife was very sweet and seemingly very sad and the husband was the rude, surly type. That night Mrs. Truax did hear a scream but was assured by the husband that his wife had had a nightmare. They checked out the next day and Mrs. Truax's handy man told her the box was much lighter. Just thinking about this couple gave both of them chills. the couple left and Mrs. Truax delves into a mystery that is very chilling.
