THE MEMOIRS OF SHERLOCK HOLMES is a collection of eleven Sherlock Holmes stories, originally published in 1894, by Arthur Conan Doyle. The British Edition also contained “THE ADVENTURE OF THE CARDBOARD BOX” a story about adultery considered too risqué for American readers. You can find it included in HIS LAST BOW. This collection contains a fascinating variety of stories, from narratives by Holmes himself to a meeting with his brilliant brother and the climactic and seemingly fatal meeting between Holmes and the criminal mastermind Moriarity, this volume sealed Holmes' immortality as a literary figure.
