Crunk

Small-time crook Frank Gryzbowski is out of prison early on a prosecutor’s clerical error and with the chance to turn around his streak of bad luck. His lifer cell mate Brian needs smooth-talking Frank to pick up a stash of diamonds that Brian ripped off from his old partners before he went inside. It’s supposed to be an easy pickup job, but Brian didn’t tell Frank all the details, including Brian’s ex-partners still looking for the stash, each with plans of their own.

Fueled by an addiction to rot gut alcohol and seeking a one-way ticket out of hell, Frank finds himself taking up a suicide mission against a network of thugs, headed by a sadistic local crime boss who is still looking for his slice of the diamonds score.

As Frank draws closer to the stash, he unwittingly brings his old flame into the crosshairs of the killers, forcing him to protect her at all costs. Frank seeks redemption for his tortured existence by continuing his hunt for the score while trying to stay one step ahead of everyone else in the hopes of a better life.
