Silently Running

This short story is the first in a series chronicle of a young man's journey through life. It is based on my own personal experiences. This story takes you through one of my earliest memories. A moment when my whole world changed and we had to run in the middle of the night to escape the violence that surrounded my home. I left my home, some of my family and the only life I knew. It started the journey.
