Growing Up Healthy: An Overview of the National Children's Study

This document provides the rationale, goals, key themes, challenges, and timeline for the National Children's Study, the largest long-term study of children's health and development ever conducted in the United States. The Study is led by the NICHD and a consortium of federal agencies, including the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
