THE GIFT OF LOVE

The “Gift of Love” is a love story about two young people who met and fell in love on board a ship to Europe. Dean Biscotti, a young man from a middle class immigrant family was on his way to Italy on an invitation from his Italian room-mate Cristoforo Fioretti. Dean and Cristoforo were both attending Harvard Medical School in Cambridge Massachusetts.
Jamie Lynn Adler, a young lady from a wealthy banking family had graduated from high school just weeks before and was traveling to Italy with her family for a summer vacation.
Their meeting appeared to be a serendipitous incident, in reality what was about to take place could very easily be described as an act of kismet. One could easily say that it was much more than that, it was a predetermined course destined to occur long before Dean and Jamie Lynn took their first breath. It was written in their chart by their own hand and agreed upon before they would enter the world again that Jamie Lynn Adler and Dean Biscotti, soul mates, would simultaneously take this round trip from the other side and spend one lifetime with each other on earth.
It had taken a great deal of courage to leave a spiritual paradise of unconditional love and meet in an environment of tough choices, challenges, pain and anguish. An environment where forgiveness and love is a scarce commodity, even though they knew it was for a higher position in the spiritual world. They had made the choice and followed through demonstrating their deep love for their god.
Now that they had taken on a human form and yet dealing with a free choice, their meeting would take on some very unusual directions before returning to their maker. The couple will take the reader through a romantic roller coaster ride through their lives. The story has beautiful moments and tragic ones with an unpredictable but engaging ending.
