Scotty York is a private detective working in Las Vegas in the80's.
However he loves to gamble
and won't work unless he's broke. A Publishing Heiress wants to hire him to
solve the murder of her boyfriend, a BJ Counter. She devises a clever scheme
to make sure Scotty is broke so he will take the case. The case takes Scotty into
the casinos and the underbelly of Las Vegas in the 80's. He gets involved with
gamblers, a shifty casino owner, a publishing heiress, a writer and mobsters.
