Health Disparities: Bridging the Gap

This 43-page scientific report describes the NICHD's overall plan to support research that addresses health disparities, specifically in the areas of infant and maternal mortality and morbidity; reproductive health; HIV/AIDS in women and teens; early antecedents of disparities in disease and growth; early antecedents of child well being and adverse behaviors; school readiness, cognitive and behavioral development; restoring function and preventing disability, training and career development, and outreach to communities and their institutions.
