Each life cycle is a unique experience unto itself, complete with rewards and terrors. John David Carter, 25 year old psychic, wanted to find a niche and settle into it for the rest of his life. Unknown powers in the outside world reached out and grabbed him, propelling him to a new location, a new identity and a new life. He had to embrace new intuitive abilities, learning all he could, or be swept up and dominated by forces beyond human control.
