I, Liberal: A Political Warning

Mike Tenney is an average middle-class fellow living a normal life in Los Angeles in the year 2019. But this morning he is arrested by the city police. His crime? Mike is a liberal and a registered Democrat, and last night the rightwing Republican government in Washington DC passed an Orthodoxy law that makes Liberalism and the Democratic Party illegal. In short order, Tenney is sent to a federal reeducation center located in the Northwest. Here at Camp Rush Limbaugh he encounters a steady barrage of Republican propaganda, and when that approach fails, brute force. Tenney eventually escapes Camp Limbaugh and makes his way across the United States in the midst of legal and military takeover by the radical right Republicans. During this odyssey he discovers the terrible secret that is at the base of the Republican assault on America. Upon learning this secret, Tenney is charged with taking the Truth to the United Nations where, it is hoped, the rest of the world will stop the reactionary revolution under way. But the Republican authorities are searching for him with malice on their minds.
