It's a Family Affair

Silas, Donna and Paul Walker grew up in a religious Memphis home. They had a loving mother and a loving father, but tragic events caused this family to divide in more ways than one, and a casual family affair ends up turning into a nightmare for the characters involved in it. Each sibling faced their own set of problems, but Paul’s situation caused him to have a serious meltdown. He was married to Shelia, and she was a malicious woman who had problems controlling her fleshly temptations. Paul spent his spare time gambling and trying to pass the Tennessee Bar Exam. To make matters worse, Paul’s best friend, Chris Givens, was a serial womanizer.
It’s hard to find a good novel that aims to inspire and send a strong message against unlawful behaviors, but this one dramatically illustrates how unlawful behaviors destroy people and their lives. In the end, it is not the cause of this family feud that really mattered, but how it ends is unbelievable.
