Lily the Lucky Ducky

Lily the Duckling finds out she is different.
When her brothers and sisters make fun of her,
she lets her temper cloud her judgment.

Lily swims off upset and thinking everyone
hates her.
Not watching where she is going, she gets
closer and closer to the tall cattails and reeds
where there are gators.

Suddenly a gator appears, Lily starts screaming.
Wally grabs her but all the other ducks dive at him
pounding until he lets Lily go.

Stunned and stiff she lays there on
top of the water.

Her Momma cries, they fear she is dead.

Lily finaly opens her eyes and discovers
she is alive.

Suddenly a storm moves in and the
whole family rushes to get back to
the nest.
The storm rages while Momma Duck
makes sure they all have learned,
never go off on your own and
never make fun of someone who is different.
