Old Fred, an editor in the dying print industry, found a way to solve all of his psychological problems. And Fred had a lot of them, more than most. To the outside world, it would look like Fred had gone completely insane. But Fred had found a way to finally get the world off of his case. It did not matter to him any longer if he were the big loser. In his mind, there was no one left to lose to now other than God. And no man can fight God and expect anything other than total abandonment in the end.
