Mark, the Match Boy is the third volume in Horatio Alger's Ragged Dick series. In this book, Richard Hunter (formerly Ragged Dick) is now 18 years old. Mark, an orphan boy who sells matches for a living, passes out on the doorstep of Hunter's employer; Richard decides to take in Mark.
