If the Bible should be the Bible, the Word that was at work in fulfilling one era to another, must [also] arise in me. But [we] are not able to see the world of God that is inside of man's spirit, so the person who makes God glorious cannot be found.
The Bible has all been eaten in the flesh; and the kingdom of heaven cannot perfectly rest [in this era] because the things of heaven are not there. [In this era of spiritual famine,] the person with a strong frame--"I"--cannot surrender, so one is not able to throw oneself away.
Without unclothing the flesh, how can one possibly be in the same line of communication with God? Ears that can hear the sounds of the spirit must open. [To be in the same line of communication with God,] the Bible must enter inside us as food for our spirits. It must become the water of life and flow.
