Master of the Shadows

Newton, WV is a town in peril as melting snows and spring rains test the walls that protect the city from flooding. Further, the second of five missing bodies has risen to the surface of the Shadow Creek reservoir…both discovered by a local vagrant. Detective Webster Kane, an Army reservist who was boots on the ground in Operation Iraqi Freedom, is in charge of quelling the fears of Newton’s citizens. He must stop the killer who blames his wife’s death on the local hospital…and he must stop the killer who has taken his newfound love.
