Pregnancy and Perinatology Branch (PPB), NICHD, Report to the NACHHD Council, September 2008

This 121-page scientific report describes the research and research training supported by the NICHD Pregnancy and Perinatology Branch as of 2008 that relate to improving the outcomes of pregnancy, reducing infant mortality (including reducing sudden infant death syndrome), and minimizing maternal and infant morbidities. The report also includes possible future research directions for the Branch.
