Fog&Woodsmoke: Behind the Image

Each of the five sections in Fog&Woodsmoke: Behind the Image commences with a photograph by Stephani Schaefer.In subsequent pages of the section, various poets offer poems responding to the photograph. Each section is a chorus of voices responding to the "direction" of a single image, and the book as a whole illustrates, in its own small way, how culture evolves as a conversation based on prior creations.
