TM and the Little White Dog

TM, a former U.S. Army Ranger, and Maria, a young female Cuban-American DEA agent, land an assignment to seek out a major drug lord in Colombia. A difficult task, considering he has changed both his personal and physical identity, but the DEA is confident his profound passion for Paso Fino horses will reveal his whereabouts. Under the guise of being married, and Paso Fino horse breeders, TM and Maria's uneasy relationship shifts from resentment to love and desire as they endure violence, survive kidnappers, and narrowly escape murder. However, when the drug baron is finally behind bars, they find themselves destined for death when a hit man goes in pursuit of potential witnesses. The overture and finale of this riveting tale are both set in Rio de Janeiro, and in the end, TM, inconsolable, and distraught, is challenged by a drug dealer from one of the most depraved areas in the city. In TM and the Little White Dog by Cordell Overgaard, Latino drug dealers and gangs figure heavily in the action, while prosperous American, Mexican, and South American drug lords are solidly and unsparingly portrayed.
