Dispatches from a desert sailor

Partly to allay suspicions that I was some kind of nautical disaster waiting for a place to happen, I began writing up my sailing adventures, and sending the reports off to various relatives and blogs. This is a collection of some of those reports, plus some random bloviating on sailing, life and the universe in general. I am putting this out there for the world mostly to get my feet wet with this newfangled self-publishing stuff. Plus, I'm curious if anyone would actually pay nearly an entire dollar for my silly ramblings.

If more people than my friends and relatives (at least the ones most susceptible to arm-twisting and begging) fork out .99 for this little work, I'll be thrilled to death. I might even quit my day job. Thanks in advance, I hope you like it!
