Two A.M.

I was up late one night, too hyped up on Red Bull to fall asleep. The song “Twilight Zone” came onto my Ipod’s play list, and when I listened to the lyrics, I thought, “There could be a really good story behind this.”

Two A.M. is about a hitman turned informant who is on the run from his former employer. Having supposedly shaken the tail that was sent after him, the narrator decides to stop at a hotel for the night. Unable to sleep, he simply sits in his hotel room reflecting on the criminal life he has led. When a familiar car pulls into the barren hotel parking lot, the narrator finds himself trapped, and left to face his former friends and colleagues who have come seeking the highest form of criminal justice; revenge.
