Comes the Dragon

China launches a surprise invasion of the United States from Mexico into south Texas in 2015. The United States is not ready. The Chinese advance collides with the newly fielded Texas Light Cavalry and their commander, Brad Hood, and the battle for Texas and the survival of the United States begins. Refineries, oil storage facilities and military installations are ravaged by space based weapons while the Chinese advance into the heart of the Lone Star State. Mechanized columns advance on San Antonio. All that stands between the United States and sure defeat is the Texas Light Cavalry and their determined commander.
