The Continued Threat of Corruption to U.S. Border Law Enforcement Agencies (Hearing Before the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control United States Senate)

This book contains oversight hearing that examine the Southwest Border operations of the U.S. Customs Service and also the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Testimony from the General Accounting Office and from the commissioners, respectfully, of the U.S. Customs and the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

This hearing will focus on the findings and also on the recommendations of a GAO report on these agencies. The report is a follow up study based on a hearing that this caucus held in May 1997 with these very same agencies.
