This bibliography provides citations to assist college debaters with research on the 1995-96 intercollegiate debate topic concerning U.S. security assistance in the Middle East. The bibliography includes such topics as the peace process relations among nations in the region and the role of the U.S.
Monographs, journal and magazine articles, congressional publications, and conference reports are included. The majority of the citations in this annotated bibliography were obtained from the computerized bibliographic database created and maintained by the Congressional Research Service's Library Services Division. Other materials were selected from the collections of the Library of Congress and the Congressional Research Service.
This bibliography is not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all resources in the field of the U.S. Security assistance in the Middle East. It is mereley an introductory guide to materials available on the debate topic.
