On a cold rain swept London street, the British Foreign Minister is assassinated with extreme prejudice. The assassin is Vasily Boslov, a world renowned Russian Mercenary, unsuccessfully hunted by world intelligence agencies for crimes against humanity since the Bosnian Civil War. He escapes in the dead of night, moving on to his next assignment. The facilitation and destruction of one of America's most prestigious icons of capitalism.
Across the globe, in East Central Minnesota, Swede Larsen rescues a family of stranded travelers in the initial stages of a crippling Minnesota winter storm. Larsen insists his new guests return to his home with him and there, ride out the storm. Archibald Baker, Sarah and their son Peter, reluctantly agree. To Larsen the Bakers are just an unfortunate threesome of British tourists that have met with an untimely accident. Unbeknownst to Larsen, the Bakers are actually hardened Bosnian Muslim terrorists chosen for this job because they do not fit the accepted American Terrorist profiles and are the last cog in a highly organized plan put into place to facilitate the attack on the Mall. Their mission is to perform the final photo reconnaissance of the target and to provide a report to their controllers of any last-minute changes in security and access.
