A Healing Love

A Healing Love is the story of Emily Mueller, a mother of three, who lost her husband to illness and struggles with her feelings of love for the renegade Indian, Powatan. After Powatan escapes his captors and becomes wounded, Emily finds him on her land. She in turn heals his wounds, as he heals her heart and the heart of her children. Her oldest son, Josh, is torn between protecting the family and his mother's decision to care for Powatan. Josh is still very hurt by his father?s death and struggles between his mother's wishes, and his own anger, driven by betrayal. As Emily and Powatan grow closer, Josh grows more desperate and makes a rash decision that could change his family forever. Only in the last moments, does he realize the extent of his betrayal and comes to the rescue.
