The Dairy Farmer

An attack on a Brooklyn synagogue ends with two terrorists shot dead at close range by an unknown gunman. The search for him leads Detective Tom Koslowski on a trail that takes him from Brooklyn to a Hoboken mosque and to an Israeli kibbutz while he tries to juggle his job, an ongoing relationship with a very promiscuous ex-wife, working with a beautiful Israeli policewoman, and coping with sleazy New York politics without compromising his personal values.
