Meet Dr. Jason P. Schwartz: physician, radio talk-show host, and college professor.
He received his doctorate from The University of the State of New York, New York Chiropractic College and obtained additional post graduate training in oriental medicine, clinical nutrition and pharmacology. For three decades as a clinician with a special interest in complementary medicine, Dr. Schwartz helped patients make informed decisions and improve their health by understanding the difference between treating symptoms and finding causes.
As host of the most-popular locally produced radio health show on Florida’s Treasure Coast, Dr. Schwartz brought cutting-edge science to audiences for 10 years. His live, call-in health show offered listeners a source of meaningful, forward-thinking medical guidance, discussing topics such as omega-3 essential fatty acids and trans-fats decades before they became part of everyday medical talk.
While serving as an adjunct professor of human anatomy and physiology, Dr. Schwartz was honored as teacher of the year at two Florida state colleges. His commitment to teaching goes far beyond the classroom.
His lifelong desire has always been to help people make the most of their lives. Whether treating patients, educating the public or teaching college students, Dr. Schwartz believes his greatest contribution is distilling complex concepts into insights that are easily understood—and applied—by his audiences.
“He who can, does. And he who can and cares, shares.” - Dr. Jason P. Schwartz
