Life is Often Darker than Death

A short story modeled after Frankenstein and Edgar Allen Poe. Takes places not to long in the future in a world that makes death seem pleasant. Elphaba has lost her entire world to the chaos of humanity making her remember her mother's favorite saying "Life is often darker than death".
