I'm Not a Loser!

For the past four or five years I have thought about writing a summary, an explanation, a retrospect if you will, of all the jobs and business ventures I have been associated with over the past forty-five years. As an ex-history teacher who enjoys examining the past, my main focus was on trying to produce an explanation for my family and friends as to why—and for whatever reason(s)—I have jumped from one form of employment to the next every other year or less since anyone cares to remember.

Now that I have actually completed this work, I am both apprehensive and naturally curious as to how its contents will be perceived by those who know me best. If, however, I have only one message to pass along to anyone who may come in contact with this endeavor, it would be this: Live your life the best you can and never let failure stop you from trying to achieve your goals. “Damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead!”
