My two grandsons both suffer from severe allergies. When their Dad decided to get them a dog, a hypoallergenic dog was the only option.
As our children were growing up we had a multitude of both cats and dogs but this is entirely different. Normally we would go to the pound and pick up a homeless dog.
Of course, this was not possible in this situation so we started surfing the Internet. We were trying to get a handle on information to better understand what types of dogs were available that would not affect the boys' allergies.
We accumulated a great deal of material from a variety of web sites. It took a long time to really understand exactly what breeds were available that were hypoallergenic.
I then realized that information of this type would help other people to decide which hypoallergenic dog was best for them.
