It is the story of how Jesus helped Brian and Maureen Hennessy to escape completely from the religion of Christianity that had imprisoned countless millions of families like theirs since the fourth century. The Lord showed them that their true identity was not defined by membership in a Gentile religion called Christianity, but by physically and spiritually being part of the chosen family of Abraham, which taken together, both Jew and Gentile, is called Israel. “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Gal. 3:29).
