Oblix: The Summoning

Hamlet was right to fear his sleep. When an ancient evil stirs on the planet Shalimar, the guardian of the planet summons the greatest warriors of the age. But the lords of glory are gone, their civilizations fallen and their planets destroyed. Only a meager few men can be found on a backward place called Earth. To prepare his fighters for the horror that they will soon face, the guardian sends dreams of combat and death to them while they sleep. But one man's training skews horribly wrong and he goes profoundly insane. Kraeger wakes from his dreams a pitiless killing machine, unstoppable and unkillable. Loosed on the helpless planet he soon becomes a greater menace than the evil he was recruited to fight. The only chance to heal his mind is to restore the last shards of humanity lost somewhere deep within his soul. To do so, the guardian's assistants must get close to Kraeger; something nobody survives...
