Not All Drug Smugglers are Bad

Four young, black, female housemates, newly graduated and licensed as teachers, and promised teaching positions, are informed at the last minute that their positions are terminated due to budget cuts. They must quickly find alternate means of support until teaching positions become available. So they start a quartet, Daughters of the Drums, performing dances and music of their South Pacific Islands heritage.
While enjoying almost instant success they find themselves sucked into the midst of an illegal drug smuggling scheme and become undercover pawns of the DEA. How these four ladies manage to out-fox the smugglers and find romance at the same time is presented in this exciting page-turner.
