This is a story of a young boy and his friends learning of life’s joys and sorrows in the backdrop of a different time. A time still ripe with heroes, and ideals, mixed in part with prejudice, and ignorance. If you are a 40 something living anywhere in the US, you will understand. It was more than just a time, it was a feeling.
This is a book written for those who don’t remember, who can’t remember, and for those who have forgotten.
