Reencounter With Jesus

Remember the twelve disciples, how they walked with Jesus? They thought they knew Him, but did they really? Before His death, one betrayed Him, one denied Him, and the rest scattered and hid for their lives. Not until Jesus’ resurrection, after He appeared to them, showed them the marks on His body, ate with them, and finally ascended to heaven, did they finally believe. Not until they reencountered Him were their lives transformed.

People today are experiencing life much as Jesus’ disciples did. There are many Judases, Peters, and Thomases among us. It does not matter which of these disciples you identify with; Jesus loves and forgives you. But just like the disciples, you will not change until you have a reencounter with Him. When you do, your life will be forever transformed.
