The original concept for this book was to bring butterflies to life. As their lives were studied, it was amazing how many similarities there were between butterflies and clowns. Romeo and Juliet shouldn’t be together because they are different breeds of clowns portraying different species of butterflies. What better environment for the book, but a low-budget traveling clown company?
