THE PRINCETON EXPERIENCE VOLUME TWO

Despite a broken romance, Harry turns on the learning jets and begins to feel good at Princeton. He engages the really really tough subject of Christianity as depicted in the works of Chausser and interpreted in the early English novels. After Christmas he takes an adventurous trip to Cornell to watch a basketball game (riding in a 1930 Ford Model A with no floorboards in a driving snow.) He and Skokie are selected as 1950 US Census Takers, which leads to visits with Harry's favorite professor, and with Einstein and his sister, and with the novelist Kathleen Coyle. If all this isn't enough, he agrees with Skokie to "go west" selling magazine subscriptions that summer.
