The Bottle Tree

Caleb Gandy's world is a turpentine camp set in the Kisatchie Forest of Central Louisiana in the early 1900s. The injustices and turmoil of that time are offset by friendship, his family's love, and his dog Bo. Follow Caleb and his friends as they explore life in a simpler yet still confusing time when they are confronted by racial issues and a murder, and learn how friendships develop despite differences.
