Redemption

Lily Castik whirls into town intent on tracking down the author of her favorite novel, convincing him to let her convert his novel to a movie, and heading back to Hollywood in time to walk the red carpet at her latest movie. Instead of the quiet, introspective intellectual she imagined, Jed Stykes turns out to be a pool-playing, beer drinking, loner who is not inclined to let a Hollywood starlet butcher his story. Despite their initial animosity, Lily convinces Jed to read her script. Pleasantly surprised at what he reads, Jed realizes there is more to Lily than her starlet appearance.
