A Father's Son

The true-life story of a young Canadian boy born while his father was away fighting in World War Two. Born eleven months after his father shipped out, the youth was rejected by his soldier-father upon the soldier's return. Despite abuse, mental and physical, and the absence of any fatherly love and care, our young hero, Bob, was able not only to survive but to contribute greatly to the family well-being through his hunting and fishing skills developed as a matter of necessity....no skills, no catch. No catch....no eat. Follow Bob as he struggles for survival, antagonize with him in his sorrows and elate with him in his achievements as he matures into a productive citizen of Canada.
