Economics allows to understand the decisions we make at home and office. Our choices determine our income, our budget for consumption and our savings. How much should we invest in our education? How do we decide how long and how hard to work? How do we choose the basket we consume? What goals do we have in saving for future? Our choices are guided by our goals, our preferences and the opportunities we have? Can we choose the basket we want to consume? What we can afford is determined by prices we have to pay? How are prices determined in the market? How do monopoly or competition among affect market prices? How do we invest our savings through financial institutions? How uncertainty affect our future returns and what can we to reduce the uncertainty? The goal of the book is to explain economic analysis to a general reader who is not interest in complex technical arguments.
